Shaving Cream Fun

Hello VanderHart family from the Wiedersteins!

We had an enjoyable summer with a lot of relaxing and camping, which is relaxing once we get there but packing and unpacking is not so relaxing. =) Anyway, Scott is back to school. This is his first full week with kids. I didn't return to teaching this year. I'm staying home with the kiddos and working parttime for our church as the Children's Ministry Director. It's hard to believe John will be 3 already on Saturday - and Emma's almost 5 months old. I've included some recent pictures of the kids below.

This is John yesterday playing with shaving cream on the kitchen table. It was a great way for him to clean his sticky mess from a fruit cup and have fun playing with "Red" at the same time - not that you can even tell he's playing with the firetruck from Cars.



After playing in the shaving cream, he got to give "Red" a bath.



Emma's been working on sitting up. She's doing really well, but I put the boppy behind her when I can't be right by her. I think she's trying to keep up with John.

Since you all get to see Drew on the Gaskill site- I don't really then have much to post! But I do happen to have just a few pics to show that I took when we had him overnight on Sunday and for most of Monday! - He smiles & smiles until I get out the camera- then he becomes curious and wants to eat it!

First picture - is bathtime fun, then a couple of pics of grandma reading to Drew- he loves books!- and the one of him on the table- I was getting his food ready - and he was trying to get my cell phone off the table- yes this boy loves his gadgets- phones- remotes- cameras!

I have a short clip of him talking to himself in the mirror- ( have a great one of him in the tub- but g-ma was so busy watching his face, she didn't realize she also included a bit more body than she wanted!)

Hello Family!! This is awesome!! Of course it helps that I have easy access to Alyssa!! Thanks Alyssa! This is our famly picture taken in July when Matt and Jackie came to redo my guest/office room. So now I have one room that is not "biege"! YEH!! I'm extremely busy with work -- but have taken some time this summer to go camping - yes you heard it right I bought myself a 19ft camper -- therefore I also had to buy a vehicle to pull it - GMC Envoy. both the camper and Envoy are 2006 models - 2nd hand. LOVE IT. Great getaway for a weekend -- even if I'm within driving distance to home if I forgot anything! Thanks to Scott for showing me how to set up -- back up (easier said than done - but getting the hang of it) etc. Well, I need to get back to work but thought I would try this while my dear Alyssa was here to advise me if I had a problem!! Can't wait to hear from the rest of you!!

The beginning or the end?
